Police Recruitment: Benue Command Commences Screening August 24th

BENUE State Police Command is to commence screening of applicants for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force on the 24th August, 2020, command has announced.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the Benue State Police Command, Ms Catherine Sewuese Anene, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) has stated in a press release on behalf of the state’s Commissioner of Police.

“Benue State Police Command wishes to inform candidates who applied for the 2020 Police Recruitment Exercise that the screening exercise is scheduled to start by 7am on 24th August, 2020 and end on 6th September, 2020 at Police Rank and File Mess, Barracks Road, Makurdi.

“Applicants are advised to come along with all necessary credentials (originals and duplicates) including national identity card, certificate of origin and printout of their application profile page.

“In compliance with COVID-19 prevention protocols, candidates are expected to wear their facemasks, maintain social distance and observe all other protocols during this process.

“Candidates are to appear at the venue, dressed in white T-shirt, white short and white canvas on the various screening dates,” the press release stated.

The screening dates, as contained in the release, are scheduled local government by local government. They include: Ado & Agatu  LGAs: (Monday, 24th  August, 2020); Apa & Buruku LGAs: (Tuesday, 25th August, 2020); Gboko & Guma LGAs: (Wednesday, 26th August, 2020); Gwer-East & Gwer-West LGAs: (Thursday, 27th August, 2020); and Katsina-Ala & Konshisha LGAs: (Friday, 28th August, 2020).

Others include: Kwande &  Logo LGAs: (Saturday, 29th August, 2020); Makurdi & Obi LGA: (Monday, 31st August, 2020); Ogbadibo LGA: (Tuesday, 1st September, 2020); Ohimini & Oju LGAs: (Wednesday, 2nd September, 2020); Okpokwu & Otukpo LGAs: (Thursday, 3rd September, 2020), Tarka & Ukum LGAs: (Friday, 4th September, 2020); and Ushongo & Vandeikya LGAs: (Saturday, 5th September, 2020)

The press release directed that “only candidates scheduled for screening on particular dates specified above are expected to be present at the venue to avoid crowd.”
